Beautiful old transit. Note the compass does not saddle on top of the transit as it should, just a hair off ..I repaired 2 feet on the compass (using gorilla super glue gel, worked great) but now it doesn't saddle correctly on Top of the transit, it appears that over time the pot metal has slightly shifted and has splayed the legs out so it would need to be slightly modified / grinded to fit correctly atop the transit...
