After downloading the zip file for the Theme you can install the Akademic Theme in 2 ways: Via WordPress or Via FTP.

1. Via WordPress

Follow the steps below to install Akademic Theme via WordPress:

Step 1. Go to Dashboard > Appearance > Themes > Add Theme

Step 2. Click Upload Theme

Step 3. Browse the akademic.zip file on your computer and click Install Now.

Step 4. Activate Akademic Theme

Step 5. Activate ArrowPress Core plugin, enter the license key of Akademic theme. Then you can start the demo data import process.

2. Via Ftp

Follow the steps below to install Akademic Theme via FTP:

Step 1. Log in to your FTP account via FTP software to access the hosting web server.

Step 2. Unzip the akademic.zip file.

Step 3. Upload the unzipped Akademic folder to the wp-content/themes folder.

Step 4. Activate the Akademic theme in Control Panel > Appearance > Themes.

Step 5. Activate the ArrowPress Core plugin, enter the license code of the Akademic theme. Then you can start the demo data import process.

Import Demo Data

After you have successfully uploaded the Akademic Theme, you can import the demo data to the Theme

Follow the steps below to import the demo data via Akademic Core:

Step 1 – Go to Appearance Panel > Akademic > Import Demo .

Step 2 – Hover over the demo you want and click Settings

Step 3 – Select the type of content you want to import and click Import .

The import process may take up to 5 minutes.

Note: You can only use one demo per site

After you import demo data for the theme, the theme’s external interface will display as shown below

You can also change the display interface for the home page with 3 available pages: Demo – Online Class, Demo – Offline Class and Demo – Education Center

After you successfully imported the demo data, to ensure that LearnPress configurations are the same as our demo, please go to LearnPress => Tools => Cache => Clear all caches to clear the cache.
